SYNOPSIS
A SCREEN BETWEEN US is inspired by my experience of going to Singapore to pursue my study and being away from my family and friends back in Surabaya for one and a half year. I started feeling homesick and felt lonely, and that was the feeling I was aiming first when doing this project, but during the early stage of making, I started realizing how much my family and friends loves me, even if our only way of communication is through video calls, they still talk to me and care about me. Since I, myself wasn’t aware of it, it is my goal to make more people aware of this kind of warmth and love given through the screen, because it is as important as physical love.
Thank you for my family and friends still loving and caring about me, even if we are separated by a screen. <3
